This year's themes are the Koshas (the 5 sheaths of consciousness) and the Kleshas (obstacles to enlightenment). We will have four hours of yoga every day as well as time for meditation. El Encanto is a wonderful place to immerse yourself in yoga sadhana. Our practice space looks right over the ocean! Jim is a fabulous host and really goes the extra mile to make our stay lots of fun. During free time there are opportunities to go bird watching, swimming at a secret beach and waterfall as well as explore local towns. Prices for 2009 will depend on the type of accommodation you choose. Beachfront apartments with private bathroom will be at the higher end of the range while simple rooms with shared bathroom will be more economical. And there are also prices for partners wanting to come to El Encanto but not participate in the yoga. Families are also welcome! Early-bird prices are good until November 15, 2008.
