This program is designed so working people who have families and/or other commitments can become Teachers of Yoga, and not need leave home for an extended length of time. Teacher Training meetings are held on a weekend every 3 or 4 weeks. The meeting is full of instruction and practice including meditation, mantra, pranayama, philosophy, asana, anatomy, developing teaching skills, learning benefits, precautions and modifications. Between each Teacher Training meeting students attend Yoga workshops or classes with approved Teachers in their area for an average of approximately 2-3 hours per week over the duration of the training. Written assignments are completed between meetings and reviewed in group discussion for clearer understanding.
