SOYA’s extensive curriculum will help you excel at your yoga teacher career and your yoga lifestyle. Enjoy SOYA’s 200hr program with our faculty for Pitt Meadows, BC. The program is an excellent choice for those who cannot get away for an immersion. The program gives you time to learn more gradually and put the studies into practice before the next session.
The online schedule will run from Sept 4 to Dec 7th on Sundays 8am – 1pm, Mondays 5 – 9pm and Fridays 5 – 9pm. Additional videos to be viewed between sessions. Students will get a week off in October and November.
Tuition for Yoga Teacher Training
Program Tuition Fees: $3,200.00
Program Tuition Savings: Save $300 if you register by Aug 15th.

- A non-refundable tuition deposit of $650.00 + GST is required upon registration.

Meet Your Instructors
Dorothy Fizzell, SOYA, E-RYT500, IYTA
Dorothy began her yoga journey over 40 years ago. As a long-time student of Mugs she was one of SOYA‘s first RYT graduates! Dorothy’s yoga career has had many outlets. As an Early Childhood Educator and her love of traditional Hatha yoga she blended her yoga wisdom to develop and teach yoga workshops for young children. At the same time she pursued a path of Karate and has since achieved Shodan level and her first level black belt in Chito Ryu Karate. Her teaching style is eclectic and dynamic.
Dorothy helped establish the SOYA Yoga Teacher Training in Vancouver in 2005. She currently is the Lead Trainer for the Vancouver Program and the SOYA Distance Education YTT program out of Pitt Meadows, BC. She is a long time teaching member and the Canadian Representative of the International Yoga Teachers Association (IYTA), whos headquarters is in Australia.
Jools Andres, SOYA, E-RYT500, IYTA, C-IAYT
An experienced, compassionate therapist, trainer, and teacher, Jools graduated from her first 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2011 and earned her 500-hour designation from SOYA in 2014. Additional teacher trainings were completed with Erich Schiffmann, David Swenson, Robin Rothenberg, Neil Pearson, and Judith Lasater. In 2018 Jools interned as a yoga therapist under DV Sridhar, Radha Sridhar, and Viji Vasu, senior graduates of and master teachers for TKV Desikachar in Chennai, India as part of her 1000-hour diploma in yoga therapy. She is registered as E-RYT 500 and YACEP with Yoga Alliance and C-IAYT with International Association of Yoga Therapists.
Jools has completed additional courses in adaptive/accessible yoga, trauma-informed yoga, yoga for pain care, and Anatomy Trains (myofascia); her training and work reflect her deep interest in embodiment, mindfulness, and nervous system regulation and includes over 250 hours of anatomy and physiology studies. Her most rewarding work as a yoga teacher has been in programs for indiginous new mothers and at women’s shelters on Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. See more about Jools at joolsandres.com
