Nominate someone to receive a yoga scholarship.

Selection priority will lean toward students who are personally more economically vulnerable and where the certified yoga teacher who nominates them has indicated compelling reasons they feel the student will benefit from attending classes with them.

Anyone can apply for a scholarhip however applications are to be submitted by a nominator, on behalf of the person to receive the scholarship funding. Scholarship funding will be paid to the teacher or studio offering the yoga classes to the nominee.

Total amount of Scholarship being requested.*
Please calculate the number of classes being requested by your class rate. Example: 5 classes x $15 = $75 or provide the total amount of the workshop. Please submit an invoice for payment to South Okanagan Yoga Academy (SOYA) at info@soyayoga.com, include the GST number if applicable. Scholarships are limited to max $100, one time only per nominee.
We will be following up with an email to request a paragraph or two telling SOYA how this student benefited by the scholarship and any other successes you wish to share. We would feel honoured to share your story in the SOYA enewsletter, if you and the student grant us permission.
